Chaque personne participant au projet sélectionne une photographie de paysage qui symbolise pour elle le souvenir d’un instant.

Lors du rendez-vous de tatouage, se met en place une discussion avec l’artiste. Ce dernier interprète alors par un dessin les mots et l’image qui lui sont rapportés. Ses lignes traduisent ensuite sur la peau de la personne présente, l’histoire qui lui a été racontée. Pour chacun des participants, un témoignage écrit accompagne la discussion, comme une trace indélébile de ce moment.

Une fois tatoué sur le corps, le fragment de ce souvenir voyagera comme une carte postale, au gré des déplacements de celui ou celle qui le porte.

Aujourd’hui encore, ce projet continue…

> How does it works?

Each person participating in the project selects a landscape photograph that symbolizes for them the memory of a moment.

During the tattoo appointment, a discussion with the artist takes place. The artist then interprets the words and the image through a drawing. His lines then translate on the skin of the person present, the story that has been told. For each participant, a written testimony accompanies the discussion, like an indelible trace of this moment.

Once tattooed on the body, the fragment of this memory will travel like a postcard, according to the movements of the person wearing it.

Ce projet commencé en 2017, a été retranscrit dans un livre qui retrace cette aventure humaine, à laquelle ont participé plus de 1000 personnes, dans près de 20 pays.

This project started in 2017, has been transcribed into a book that retraces a 4-year human adventure, in which more than 1000 people participated, in nearly 20 countries.
